When I came across this house on a hill last weekend in Pawlet, Vermont, I simply had to stop and shoot. It reminded me of a Warren Kimble painting! This scene is my idea of the quintessential Vermont landscape .... a beautiful Colonial with the requisite red barn overlooking dozens of acres and a feeling of sturdiness, solitude and tranquility.
